I’m sitting in the LAX Airport waiting to depart for my big adventure. There is so much that I’ve experienced in the last six weeks. I’m two sentences into this blog, but I have probably written 25 and then backspaced because I'm not sure how to put this in writing. The emotions running through me are some of the strongest and most raw that I have ever felt in my life.
The title of this blog post is one that has been running through my mind for a couple of weeks. That was the easy part. The content for this post is a lot tougher. So I guess I will just start with what comes easy to me. THANK YOU, I LOVE YOU… I WILL SEE YOU AGAIN to all of my family, friends, past co-workers, past clients, future contacts, and acquaintances (<— I spelled that correctly on the first try)!!!
The end of that last paragraph may weird some people out or you may think I am saying it in a general manner. But the truth is, I actually do mean it directly to each one of you. I think and wish all of the time that we (humans) had the openness to tell each other more often. Not that I am a perfect person who does not have their own flaws or gets too busy to remember this myself.
I have lived a very blessed life and I am grateful to acknowledge that. I have always been raised to work hard, learn, accept everyone for who they are, make the best of a situation, and believe that you can do whatever you want if you set your mind to it. Well, this adventure is a testament to all of that and more.
Most importantly, I am able to recognize that this would not have been able to happen without everyone in my life helping to shape me into who I am. I hope that my travels inspire you to do more of what you really want to do. At the very least, I hope this helps you to recognize that no matter how negative social media or the news may be that there is a lot more positive things that happen every day. So again, I will leave you with “Thank you, I love you and I will see you again!”
Off to Vietnam now! Please excuse the typos as I only had a few minutes to get this put together.
